Jumping Jack

Obviously this little cutie got his name for a reason. He is constantly jumping up and down as if he were on a spring board. Jumping Jack, as we named him at Straydog, is a healthy Basset Hound/dachshund mix about 2 years old. During the snow storm in February JJ made his first home with an elderly woman by simply coming in through a doggie door one night, without even knocking. This wonderful woman provided a home as long as possible in hopes that his family would claim him. After a few months and many attempts there were no calls or recognition to JJ. At that time she asked Straydog to assist in his care. Playtime with Jumping Jack proves he was once a family pet and is very sweet and loving, he is great when playing and getting along with other dogs and children. All of JJ’s routine shots are up to date and he has been neutered.
